It’s the question I somehow find myself asking every single day…
What’s for dinner?
Some days, I have a plan. I know exactly what I’m making, I have everything I need, and I’ve even remembered to take something out of the freezer ahead of time.
Then there are the days when dinner sneaks up on me and I’m standing in front of the refrigerator hoping something inspires me.
Tonight, I’m keeping things simple. The weather is absolutely gorgeous, so I’m taking advantage of it and having burgers on the grill.
Nothing fancy. Just an easy dinner and a beautiful evening.
It got me thinking about how different dinner can look from one night to the next. Sometimes I feel like making something from scratch and spending a little extra time in the kitchen. Other nights, I want something quick and easy. And yes, there are definitely nights when takeout sounds like the best idea I’ve had all day.
I don’t think dinner always needs to be complicated. Sometimes the simplest meals are the ones I enjoy the most.
So tonight, while I’m enjoying my burger and this beautiful weather, I want to know…
What’s for dinner at your house tonight?
Are you making an old favorite, trying something new, eating leftovers, ordering takeout, or still trying to figure it out?
Tell me what’s on your menu. I could always use a little inspiration for tomorrow!

I’ve never tried to do it all on the grill but it seems to have worked well. My boys are gobbling it up at least. Of course boys that age eat a lot no mare what.

Haha, I’m sure it is the combination of both, good food and hungry boys!

Let me guess, either meatloaf or breakfast for dinner?

Actually meatball subs. I’m kind of meatball’d out, but it was what everyone else wanted. 😥
